Address Is Approximate

Using stop-motion animation and imagery from Google Maps Street View, director Tony Jenkins provides a look at how a lonely desk toy manages to escape his confined world and take a cross country drive to the Pacific coast.

Address Is Approximate was shot with a Canon 5d MkII, and all of the screen imagery was animated and advanced by hand while it was being filmed. If this video doesn’t make you want to gather up all the toys and figures trapped on your desk and release them into the wild, there’s a good chance you might not have a soul.
