“Game Over” (2008)

It presents the dying Mario in the arms of princess Peach. These are characters from the famous series of computer games posed to Michelangelo’s “Pietà.”
There’s something so quiet and sad about this sculpture of Mario dying in the arms of Peach. It’s carved out of styrofoam, and it’s called “Game Over”. More photos of the sculpture and the build are located at the Artist’s page below.
